FeKK 2026: Jury

Laurent Crouzeix is on the executive team of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and Short Film Market. He is coordinator of Euro Connection co-production forum that has seen over 140 projects to completion so far. He also designs industry meetings about the development, production, or distribution of short films. Laurent is a regular expert or consultant for international script & project development training programmes. As sustainability officer, Laurent oversees the event’s social and environmental action plan. Laurent’s stop-motion short Amerigo and the New World was released in 2019.

Marina Gumzi studied dramaturgy and film production in Ljubljana, Berlin and Paris. She is an alumna of the postgraduate program at DFFB Berlin and has also pursued studies in Degrowth and Ecological Economics. Since 2012, she has led NOSOROGI where she has collaborated with some of the most distinctive young filmmakers from the region switching between the roles of a producer and scriptwriter. Her work on films such as Stories from the Chestnut Woods, Fiume o morte!, Little Trouble Girls, Playing Men, Common Pear, Granny's Sexual Life has earned multiple awards, including two European Film Awards, César Award and the Berlinale FIPRESCI Prize.

Niels Putman is the artistic director and coordinator of yanco, a magazine and streaming library for short-form moving image. He is also a co-founder and co-editor of Talking Shorts. As a freelance film programmer, Niels is affiliated with De Cinema, Antwerp’s local rep house embedded in M HKA’s audiovisual strand. He is also a member of the selection committees for Film Fest Gent (BE) and the video-on-demand platform Avila (BE). Previously, he has served on (pre-)selection committees at film festivals in Dresden (DE), Baden (CH), and Busan (KR) and has contributed as a guest curator to events in Quebec City (CA) and Poznań (PO). His writing has appeared in outlets such as Sabzian, Etcetera, and Fantômas

Iva Katušin completed her undergraduate studies in German Studies and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, and the Freie Universität Berlin. She plans to continue her studies in the MA programme in Film and Television Studies at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT). She works as a film critic and is a regular contributor to Ekran Magazine, as well as to Radio Študent, the Ars programme of Radio Slovenia, and the arts platform Koridor – Crossroads of Arts, where she serves as co-editor of the film department. During the 2024/25 season, she made her mark in the Delo newspaper's ‘Mlado pero’ (‘Young Pen’) column with her literary criticism. She also occasionally reviews graphic novels. She has collaborated on the organisation of the Itn. Festival of Engaged Writing and the Kinotrip Youth Film Festival, where she prepared and moderated discussions with filmmakers. In 2019, she was a member of the youth jury for the Kinotrip Award at the Ljubljana International Film Festival (LIFFe).

Savina Petkova is a Bulgarian film critic, curator, and academic based in London. Her writing appears in Sight & Sound, Cineuropa, The Film Stage, Variety, among others; as a programmer, she works for the Cambridge Film Festival and the Sofia International Film Festival. Savina is also a senior editor at Talking Shorts, a platform devoted to long-form short film criticism. Savina holds a PhD from King’s College London and is an alumna of Berlinale Talents Press, Sarajevo Talents, and Locarno Critics Academy.

Martyna Ratnik is a Vilnius-based cultural worker. Her practice, which encompasses writing, filmmaking, and curation, focuses on landscapes and their (de)colonization, the aesthetics of boredom, and memory politics in the (post-)Soviet space and beyond. Martyna’s work explores the tensions arising between grand narratives and the everyday and is interconnected by the search for various ways history – from personal to planetary – can be embodied and transgressed. In the past, Martyna has curated film screenings for the Independent Vilnius Cinematheque Meno Avilys, London’s Genesis Cinema, and the Institute of Contemporary Arts, while her moving-image work, among others, was screened at the European Media Art Festival, LUX Moving Image, and Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival. Having recently completed her Film and Screen Studies BA degree at the University of the Arts London, she is currently working as a member of the London Short Film Festival’s selection committee.
