Intimacy Coordination Workshop

Telling the Story Safely: Introduction to Intimacy Coordination for Film and Televison

The introductory workshop offers a shared space for actors, directors and producers to understand the role of intimacy coordination in storytelling. Through practical tools and open discussion, we will unpack what intimacy is, what it communicates on screen, and how to safely navigate scenes involving physical or emotional vulnerability. Participants will gain a clear understanding of consent, boundaries, and choreography practices, while learning how to collaborate with an intimacy coordinator to support both creative vision and performer well-being.

Polett Kasza is a dancer, arts manager and intimacy coordinator for film and television. After graduating from the Hungarian Dance University in Budapest, Kasza worked as a dancer at the Czech National Ballet in Prague, the Slovenian National Opera and Ballet in Ljubljana, and the Hessisches Staatsballett in Wiesbaden-Darmstadt. Working as an independent artist since 2018, she has collaborated with many Slovenian and international artists as well as continued to perform as a guest artist in several different countries and directed her first dance performance, SQUARE 1, in collaboration with Mateja Železnik. She received her second diploma in cultural management in 2024 and further expanded her expertise by completing training as an intimacy coordinator through Safe Sets’s SAG-AFTRA-accredited training programme in 2025.
